SERVICES
Hole tapping and countersinking
STL offers services such as hole tapping and countersinking. Hole tapping can be carried out either manually or automatically.
Punching and surface marking
STL offers services such as punching as well as marking for traceability of the processed material.
To make the operators’ job of assembling and welding easier, we can mark the surface of materials, “drawing on” the outline of tubes or plates that are due to be joined to them.
Angle bar laser cutting
When used for open section applications, laser cutting’s impressive flexibility results in a considerable reduction in production- and handling-related costs.
Furthermore, laser cutting overcomes some of the limits associated with basic processing, such as cutting a simple slot, meaning designers have a lot less restrictions to contend with when engineering and sizing their metal structures.
Special sections laser cutting
STL systems can also handle special “sections”, whether closed or open, including profiles with an asymmetrical cross-section. This makes the job of operators in the industry that much easier, optimizing turnaround times, costs and, above all, the quality of semifinished products.
Advanced 3D software
We use sophisticated design and 3D programming software and CAD/CAM programs developed by the manufacturers of our cutting systems. CAD/CAM systems enable easier communication between STL and our clients by using files generated by the most widely used design software in structural engineering.

Packing
We have always put a lot of care into the process of packing and loading processed materials onto trucks for shipping to ensure they reach their destination without incident.
Safety when using equipment and packing systems, especially where heavy, long and bulky materials are involved, is a key part of our procedures and the order management system.
